Prevent gum disease

The most common form of periodontal disease is gingivitis – an inflammation that only affects the gums. Less common, though more serious, is periodontitis. Left untreated, periodontitis can degenerate gum, bone and ligament, ultimately resulting in the loss of teeth.

The good news is that, like tooth decay, all periodontal disease can be easily prevented through regular check-ups and good dental hygiene. Regular check-ups will detect gingivitis early, treat gum inflammation and prevent the onset of periodontitis.

So, while you're thinking about it, give us a call at Cameron and Co Dental on 4729 5777 and make a time for your check up and clean. We want to help keep you smiling for life!
