Our practice was opened by Dr Cameron Arnold in 1998 in Townsville as Smile Dental. In 2016 we changed our name to Cameron and Co Dental to highlight our commitment to remaining family owned and operated. Find out more about our team here.

The Cameron and Co Dental practice is opposite the Cathedral School on 175 Ross River Road in Mundingburra, Townsville, Australia. We have plenty of parking. Feel free to pop by and say hello.

What are your opening hours?
We are here from 7.15am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and on Friday from 7.15am to 12.30pm.
What services do you offer?
We offer comprehensive dental care for the whole family including specialist cosmetic, restorative and neuromuscular treatments. Whether you need a check-up and clean, are interested in straightening and whitening or want to find out how we can alleviate your headaches or help you stop snoring, contact us to make a time that suits you.

How much will it cost?
Everybody’s needs are different so we offer an initial consultation for free. Our dentist will chat with you about your ideal treatment options and our financial consultant will then work with you to find the best payment plans. You can read more about our payment options below.

Eftpos Facilities and HICAPS
With HICAPS on-site we can claim directly through your health fund.
Health funds
We work with all insurance companies & health funds and would be happy to offer a complimentary benefits check.
Pre-payment option
For all treatments over $1000 we offer a 5% saving on treatment plans if payment is received at least two days prior to your appointment.
Direct Deposit & Cheques
We accept direct deposit as well as bank and personal cheques.
Credit Cards
We accept Mastercard, Visa and Amex.
GE Creditline
If you have an existing GE Creditline card we can offer an interest free period of up to 24 months with no deposit required.
Gem Visa
The Gem Visa card offers interest free periods from 6 to 24 months. You can apply online now or we can approve you in five minutes during your visit.
Denticare
Denticare is an interest free direct debit payment plan which allows you to pay off your treatment over time (deposit required). You can apply when you visit us. Bring your employment and bank details, drivers license and Medicare number.
Afterpay
Afterpay gives you eight weeks, interest free, to pay off your treatment. Sign up for an account on the Afterpay site or app.
In-house Straightening Plan
In addition to our other payment options, we offer an in-house payment plan specifically for straightening. We require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable in ten monthly repayments. We charge no interest, fees or charges.
Child Dental Benefits Scheme
The child dental benefits schedule is a dental benefits program for eligible children aged 2-17 years that provides up to $1000 in benefits to children for basic dental services.
Department of Veterans Affairs
We welcome all members of the veteran community.
Early release of Super
We work with professional consultants to facilitate early access to superannuation. You simply need enough superannuation to cover your needs.
